Light Weighted and the Praying Beads is a two-piece installation. Light weighted symbolizes the vulnerability of the resting place and it is made of rustic wood and a flexible net of IV lines. The Praying Beads symbolizes the daily “pray” for a cure. It is made of small plastic parts of medical supplies. The cross in The Praying Beads portrays the infliction of carrying the disease and it is made of the actual PICC line.
